METEO AND SEEING FORECASTS
Plato, Vallis Alpes and Mare Frigoris. CFF Classical Cassegrain 12" f/20 ASI178MM Astronomik Green filter
Clavius and Blancanus under high angles of solar illumination. A number of difficult details and rimae have been recorded here by the Cassegrain. I've been pushed to use a B filter due to the very high altitude of the Moon (70°). CFF 12" f/20 CC ASI178MM Astronomik B filter
Area around Rupes Recta (Straight Wall) is plenty of interesting features. Thanks to good seeing of the night, and the B filter, a number of subtle details have beeing recorded: the rima of Birt (left) appears as constitued by a chain of craterlets, and the interior of Thebit (right) looks very irregular. A very faint rima can be seen on the upper part of the Rupes, running orthogonally to it. Lunar North on top. Cassegrain 12" f/20 ASI178MM Astronomik B filter
