I compared approx. 10'-12' of data acquired with 290MM (on the left, with slightly colder colours) and 462MC. Seeing conditions were fair, and processing very similar in both cases. This comparison shows how reduced is nowadays the gap between mono and new generation color sensors. Planetary South on top. CFF 12" f/20 Classical Cassegrain has been used.
